Today, 15 Dec 2010 .. when me and my friends, yunsoo and woosik going to teraskota for eating and playing game. Why we go to school?

Why does every human in this world should go for school? Why they do that tradition for go to school? why don't we just go for home learning? I been curious about this since grade 6, when I start thinking that school are bored. Its just a piece of book that we should memorize and understand, but teachers always tell to the student that have a same curiosity that I have that if you want to be rich or famous even achieve you goals, you must work hard and have good knowledge understanding why. If your study just like playing, Teacher will guarantee that we will not get achieve what we want without a big chance of luck will come to us.

Human are made from god to understand how tough this world and how many time that we have sacrifice for 1 knowledge?  Teacher and my parent always tell to me that the things that everyone can't stole from us is only the brain that full with knowledge, people will hired high for your jobs if you are smart enough. Little kids always want to go to school, and middle school upper does not want to go to school accept something that they really like from school and can't leave that.

The things that I like from school were the friends living and their social network. Sometimes friends story that make me interest can stuck in my mind and make that become knowledge that I kept. School for me sometimes fun in the learning group because I prefer for communicated and socializing. More friends that I have at school, more fun school will be. Maybe in next 6 weeks, Mr. Raisdana can tell me something about the technology hacking?how they can hack?because my friends always get hack by someone and they should start by beginning so I think Mr . Raisdana know how to solve that problem in social network.

Reflection for Movie Poster

I do the movie poster because movie poster is one of the things that part of documentary movie it self. I do the Secondhand smoke topic because our earth, the air have been stain by secondhand smoke and its will be huge problem in now and future.

First step that we do on movie poster was found the creative commons picture that related or match with our topic. The picture may be the picture that we want people mood after watch our movie, We find these picture on Flickr. This is one of part that I like to do during this assessment to find picture. My topic is about secondhand smoke impact children. This topic might people this simple and easy but the effects really impacting the children health. I choose this picture because the mood that I want people feel same thing what the children feel. Uncomfortable, disgusting and smell awful. This part is the easiest part of this unit project because flikr have good picture and its also CC production so, we can get the picture without worry with the owner allow you to use they picture or not. The picture that I use for the movie poster was the man who smoke with lot of smoke from the cigaret. I choose this picture because this is! this where the passive smoke spreading out to air and stain our fresh air become disgusting air. 

 Next step was we uploaded the picture that we find in flickr to Big Huge labs web. This web make us easier to know about how it looks like the poster it will when we fill up the details data about the topic. The title that I choose is "Passive Midnight" because usually the passive smoke percentage will grow in midnight rather than in afternoon. I have a hard time to think the good title for my topic but it getting easy when I saw my surrounding at the class. Tag lines was the important things in movie poster to make people curious, interest or want to watch our movie. This movie for whole parent in indonesia who smoke and non-smoke. This part of process is my favorite part of movie because I always wonder what will happened when I do this. Tagline on movie it show what will happend and the answer of the first tag line, so there is tag line two and tag line 1. My first Tagline on this poster was "Innocent Kids Die" and second tag line was " Your Smoke as Approaching". I choose the first tag line about " Innocent Kids Die" because of children that continuing the sickness from secondhand smoke can be die and second tag line that " Your Smoke As Approaching" its because the smoke comes from people surrounding child and usually its from parent or older man.

This all assignment is related to Emotive Language to create our movie more scary, disgusting and sad story of movie so people hopefully to be act and help our earth in danger with passive smoke. This part maybe the frustrated because the emotive language that we use should be interesting that can encourage people to acts. We still have hope even the little percent of people to stop smoke. So, the emotive language is the hard one for me because to find good word not just easy copy and paste.

I think language is one of the way to influence people. I think language can make people think and act. Language is a word that we use in every single of day , second , hour and anywhere. We use language to communicate. So, within only say 3 words  people will know what our inpirate and what our purpose to do the language project. I think its a good way to start from middle school to our next generation future.

I learn lot from this knowledge, maybe this information will not useful in our ages right now but for sure that when we grow up become a good creature, it will useful. There is no knowledge that never to be no useful. The important skill that I learn from this topic was find picture and help improve my writing skill on paragraph. This unit help me learn about myself because I know that there is secondhand smoke causes influence that children not notice about it, even in their surrounding. We don't know where secondhand smoke started but we know where it ends by doing this.

The question that I still need to know is will the parent act and care more about the children health? it is useful to let parent know/people surrounding.? to be help me learn better I wish I would have more cooperate with english speaking on class. To help me learn better, i think Mr. Raisdana have enough to help me better so, just do as usually.

I like this unit because I can play around with this poster, I think this unit was great to add more my knowledge about director, editor and movie maker.

Passive Midnight Poster

Vinyl chloride, cadmium, benzene, arsenic, and ethylene oxide: Do you know that secondhand smoke contains at least 250 chemicals known to be toxic, including more than 50 that can cause cancer and heart attack. Indonesia is one of the biggest countries with parent smoke along with their children. Miserable with the secondhand smoke in Indonesia makes us to care with our children future. Imagine your child die because of Cancer? Indonesia getting more frustrated with this issue.  have you ever think effect of secondhand smoke on children?do you ever care the innocent children die because ETS? Know not enough without ACTS.

Make people think . Make people care and make people understand what happening if this continue more.

Emotive Language

Emotive language are a words that make people feel something. First step that we do about emotive language is used a thesaurus to find word that we want people feel about words that we choose. 

Flickr

We learn about G-docs and made a shared list about word that we find out from thesaurus. We pick two-four words each to made slide on G-docs. We also learned about Creative Commons and Copyright. Creative Commons is a picture that the publisher allow us to use their picture with a type of license. We use Flickr as our website to find Creative Commons pictures, but then its make us frustrated because of picture that we think is perfect! but the license was Copyright and we can't use that perfect picture. So finding the right Creative Commons picture was the hardest part of my process about emotive language.

Picnik

Editing image that we find on flickr is best part of process because it was fun. We edited on Picnik Picnik is one of the easiest website for editing picture. We can edit any picture with style that we want, they have lot of optional that we could use. After finishing edit picture, we went on google docs to post it and share to friends what we learn and what we found. We also show our project to everybody by print it and display it on class.

My reflection on emotive language it just simple, its fun to share people and interesting to learn something new that use in jobs and daily life. We do this emotive language because language A english, we do the brochure, poster and movie that involve the emotive language word. This topic was really useful for my vocabulary because there were so many words that have a same meaning but the things that specific was not. Interesting to be learn but hard to be understand for us because we are language B english.

Google docs made us easier because we could share one docs together with friends and could be do together in their own laptop. Google docs same thing like Microsoft word but the different we could share it together in one docs. So we could open this docs anytime and anywhere if there is Internet. G-docs can be a document of presentation or document of movie or anything that we need. Simple but useful is G-DOCS.
